FTTO (Fiber To The Office) is an architecture devoted to tertiary computer networks. This solution consists in bringing the optical fiber from the local loop to the technical room of each company. Then, this network may be extended inside the company thanks to a fiber or copper cabling.

42U Distribution Cabinet
For copper and fiber network deployments, FOLAN arrays are the ideal solution for integrating your end devices as well as your active devices. They are available in several heights and are composed of a glazed front door equipped with a lock, a perforated rear door and removable side panels, configurable according to your needs. Roof openings allow the integration of a ventilation kit.
Mode converter
This mode converter makes it possible to pass from a monomode signal on the transport part to a multimode signal on the distribution part and vice versa. It is available with built-in SFP port or not.
MILANO Patch panel
The MILANO FOLAN patch panel is a sliding economical drawer in 19 « format, particularly suitable for direct connection. They comprise a fixed frame and a sliding tray that accommodates the dispatching interface and can provide up to 48 fiber connections in a single U of space. In addition to the basic model, the FOLAN range also includes several pre-equippedmodels that can save a lot of time on site.
SC-PC/SC-PC Patchcords
FOLAN offers a full range of optical patchcords, which are available in different lengths, cable diameters, colors and connections (SC, LC, ST, FC, etc.) and which are ideally suited to indoor connections over short distances. The patchcords ensure the mixing between the different elements of your installation: cable heads, patch panel, wall cabinets and active elements. Their reinforcement in aramid strands gives them a high tensile strength.
SFP and media converter
The media converters of the FOLAN range are essential equipment to guarantee the conversion of copper networks into optical fiber, or vice versa. They can be equipped with an SFP or mini-Gbic to provide optical connectivity to switch and router equipment equipped with a host port. As needed, these SFPs are available in multimode and single mode versions.
RJ45 Patchcords
FOLAN RJ45 patchcords play a vital role in distribution cabinets in terms of patching active equipment such as switches, routers and servers to the rest of the network, and at network end points where they are used to connect up users and provide them with all the connectivity they require. Our patchcords are available in 5 different colors for effective recognition of your applications such as data, video, ToIP, Uplink, etc., there by reducing the risk factor when work is carried out.
RJ45 Patch panels

Modem Tray
The modem tray allows easy access to equipment housed inside shallow cabinets or bays with no 19’’ post at the back. It can support up to 25 kg and is available in 300 or 350mm deep version.

Flat sealed closure
FOLAN Flat Sealed Closures are designed to accommodate,manage and protect up to 96 splices. The interior configuration is modular, whereby 4 swing open splicing trays are stacked on top of each other, each capable of handling up to 24 fibers. Compact, watertight and very strong, FOLAN Flat Sealed Closures easily fit into tight underground spaces.
Reinforced Central Tubed
This cable has many advantages, especially for extreme environments, for indoor applications (LSZH sheath) or outdoors, via conduits or ducts (UV-resistant sheath). The fiberglass reinforcement effectively combats rodents and the PBT tube and gel filling ensure the optical fiber is optimally protected.

FIDJI Boxes
FIDJI boxes are available in two formats, one designed tomanage and protect up to 24 splices in two splicing trays, the other being the 24model with amaximum capacity of 48 splices in four splicing trays. FIDJI boxes are extremely compact and can be secured by padlock; they are designed to take different adapter plates so that they can be tailored to accommodate all your installation configurations.
Preconnectorized Breakout Cable
Breakout cables are generally used to connect active equipment to the front panel of passive equipment. They are comprised of a set of 2 mm patchcords bundled together in an outer sheath made of materials that vary according to application. It allows fast direct fiber connectorization and is recommended for indoor connections; ideally laid in cable ducts or risers.
Preconnectorized Cables
Cables are referred to as preconnectorized when they come with connectors already fitted to the optical fiber strands. Preconnectorized cables have enormous benefits : they provide optimized performance because the connectors are fitted and tested at the factory ; They reduce installation time and eliminate the need for connector assembly tools and they can be preconnectorized at one or both ends for easier cable laying and management inside distribution cabinets and cable ducts.
