On Tuesday, January 14, 2020, Xavier
Couvrat, FOLAN’s Executive Vice President, attended the mayor of
Rillieux-la-Pape’s New Year’s speech.
He was awarded the industry category prize
for local actors by Alexandre Vincendet, mayor of Rillieux-la-Pape, to recognize
FOLAN’s efforts in terms of sustainable development and corporate social
responsibility (CSR).
For a number of years now we have been
implementing a strategy that balances economic, social and environmental data:
In 2012 we gave our commitment
to action to the United Nations Global Compact, and we are members of the
Global Compact France.
Each year we sign an ethics and
behavior charter for sustainable development.
We use environmentally friendly
designs when creating and manufacturing our products.
We are guided by our strong
values each day: goodwill, team spirit, professionalism, proactivity and
responsiveness, and fulfillment of commitments.
We encourage internal
promotions and bring our teams together with team-building events.
In 2020, FOLAN is setting itself the goal
of continuing to grow in France, stepping up its expansion internationally
(particularly in Germany, Italy and the UK) and investing in new markets such
as data centers, 5G and smart cities!
